Surprise by Recruit

I stopped by my favorite bar for a few beers after work the other night. The bartender who is usually there was not working. Or so I thought.The guy behind the bar was bald.Then much to my surprise I realized it was Bart.He had always worn his hair long and had his thick black hair pulled back in a pony tail. Now he had a shaved head. He had done it a week ago for a different look. He was tired of his long hair. The other regulars were as surprised as I was when they saw him bald. It was a real shocker to see him now bald with his familiar goatee. I told him I could not believe he did it. Bart was the last person I would have expected to shave his head. Those of us there wondered if he was going to grow his hair back. Brad told us firmly "No Way, I let it grow in for a day and end up shaving it smooth again. I plan to keep it." I had not been in the bar for over a week so I was not prepared for his new look. Whereas most of the regulars had already seen him. For sure a real surprise for me.I may get used to him bald.
