I was going to take issue with calling it a shaved head when a 1 guard was used. There really is only one definition of shaved head and fortunately, Sophie solved this issue. He wanted it short as he liked the feel. As good as that short buzz feels, nothing feels better than a skin smooth, freshly shaved, completely bald head!

Summer Special - Part 2 by buzzbro Back in the 70’s when I was young, a 1 all over would have been considered a summer baldy cut. Now that haircut is almost mainstream among young boys (many men too).
Hopefully mom stuck to her guns and kept your hair this way all during the school year until school let out and it was once again time for a Hargrove head shave.

Summer Special by buzzbro During my pre teasing years, I would have thoroughly enjoyed having my head shaved almost completely bald like that. That was a haircut I always wanted to try but never asked for nor was subjected to. Once my teasing years started, I would have gone full meltdown knowing my ears wouldn’t be fully covered by the time school started again. Now if I had to do it over, I would have gone with my feelings, kept it short and asked for a baldy during summers (would have pleased my grandpa greatly). To the teasers I would have said "f off!"
Great story! Shows as boys how much we feared short haircuts, but once they happened realised how awesome they are. Not ever having to worry about my hair getting messy or get nagged about combing it would have been great. It’s probably the reason I like keeping my head shaved smooth bald now.

Sentían, evidentemente, una atracción morbosa por los cortes de pelo rapados y eso les hizo desarrollar un sistema de control del trabajo del barbero Clemente. No se interesarían por los cortes de pelo normales, disfrutaban viendo el proceso de un rapado extremo y comprobando después cual era el resultado. Aquellos pobres gemelos estaban sometidos a la voluntad paterna y sufrirían en silencio aquellos pelados indecentes, a maquinilla. Then realizes his clothes look to young and goes shopping at a thrift store to pick up some older men's clothes. maybe some larger ones since seeing his youth gine and big ears makes him sad and he starts binge eating which has made him grow into a fat guy. Not tall before his hair disappeared he now appears even shorter. If you’re like most guys, once you go short, it’s very addictive and hard to go back to having to deal with longer hair. A short buzz cut has got to be about the easiest haircut to maintain. Honestly, a shaved head is more maintenance but if you’re like me it’s so worth it for the look and feel of a smooth bald head. This story is so well written that it draws you in and makes you wish you were next in the chair to get all your hair buzzed off. Where was this barber when I was a young boy?? I would have loved a barber to take the clippers and mow off the hair on top of my head that was so impossible to keep groomed. Having my head buzzed like this once, I would have gladly kept going back to remove what little hair grew out in a few weeks.
