CUIDADO CON LO QUE DESEAS by BARBERO MILITAR Ese internado no es precisamente el lugar en el que se educa en la tolerancia a los jóvenes. El protagonista es un muchacho auténticamente humilde con ganas de cambiar de vida y de mejorar. Lejos de valorar esta actitud tan positiva, al director se le ocurre castigarlo con un rapado brutal, humillante en extremo. Según sus propias palabras, aborrece a los lisonjeros y pelotilleros. Tal vez prefiera a los alumnos violentos para someterlos con la fuerza bruta. Es evidente que a don Alfonso la sumisión mostrada por el protagonista de la historia le ha descolocado y reacciona de forma irracional. Por lo tanto, es del todo imposible establecer una relación de confianza entre el alumnado y el profesorado. 21 and buzzed down by James.k22@outlook.com Go for the completely shaved head. I knew I wanted my head shaved for years before I actually started shaving it permanently. My biggest regret is I didn’t listen to my inner voice and shave it long before I did. If I could turn the clocks back, I would have asked for short buzz cuts when I was a kid and would have skipped the flattop years and just went directly to a shaved head.
Do yourself the favour and at least try it. It took me a few tries until I was confident enough to make the shaved head my permanent "hair style ".

Barbers Surprise by cjd30101 Had a barber done this to me back in my hair days, I would have totally freaked out initially. I’m sure I would have been very self conscious (as I was the first time my buddy shaved my head) and worn a hat. An experience like that at an earlier age would probably have pushed me to permanently adopt a shaved head at a much earlier age. I always knew I would eventually shave my head and never grow it back. This is exactly what happened. Only wish I had shaved it earlier on. Also wish I had asked for buzz cuts as a kid. I’m sure if I had, I’d have gone shaved head earlier on in life. Now I have so little hair to grow that a shaved head is my only option. The $50 Shag and the Graduation Buzz by ShaggyDS Would have loved to been there watching (and trying to get the courage to get a backyard buzz cut too). In high school a #3 would have seemed like a head shave. Now a #3 would seem like a long hair haircut!

Just Like A Proper Little Barber by SteDJ I personally think those were the good old days and everything was much better back then including barbers and haircuts and the way people dressed.
I was born in 1963 and wish I could turn back the clock to when barbers did those proper short tapered haircuts with clippers. For me, there was always a slight sense of embarrassment as I left the barber shop because long hair was the fashion back then, but the thought of being clipped with white skin showing on the back and sides did and still does excite me.
I've never personally had the courage to ask for a Short back and sides myself unless I was with my mum or dad- they insisted on it and I had no choice in the matter up until about the age of 13.
Whenever I went to the barbers in later life, I always asked for a 'trim' but deep down secretly wanted a Short back and sides, I am now totally obsessed with Short back and sides.
I'd Love to go back in time and have my hair cut by Mr Wilkins because I regret not asking for a Short back and sides when i was younger, only difference this time is, I'll definitely be saying "Short back and sides please" not a trim. Bring it on! by Dagenham Paul on 07 Jun 2025

For me it was a lot of maintenance (more than usual) for my very fine thinning hair. Loved it while I had it but am equally awed by watching guys get their heads shaved.

Acudimos sin ninguna duda a un ritual de sometimiento y humillación extrema. Al joven protagonista se le ve resignado y dispuesto a aceptar lo que se le viene encima.
