Lost Luggage (Recovered) by Raldo Just saw this story again. Other than the inheritance and suits, the hair history is mine. First getting the back and sides shaved smooth with boring hair on top. Next bold move came the flattop. Tried a regular flattop but it didn’t work (fine hair). And so after a day or so, found an old fashioned barbershop. Asked to get my flattop cut again. Given I had just had it cut a day or two before, the barber took no mercy. The sides and back were again shaved to the skin (not so with first flattop) but this time I had a huge landing strip. Basically I was left with a thin ring of short hair around the crown. I enjoyed it (too much maintenance though), but like Raldo, father nature was rapidly removing my hair. Once I realised the remaining ring of hair was rapidly becoming two, I went to the bathroom, took out the clippers, shaving crème and razor. I was now shaved completely bald and loved the look and feel! I then decided I would keep my head shaved indefinitely. I would never try to grow my hair back. I love the look and feel of being bald. My only wish is I had done it years before.
They often say a bald head will make you look older. In my case now, it definitely makes me look younger as I am shaving off patchy areas of grey hair. After shaving my head every day, I love running my hands over completely smooth skin. A shaved head can’t be beat! by Pauldy on 26 Feb 2026

Hypnotized to get a haircut by just got a haircut OR ARE YOU??? One haircut like this generally leads to more. The freedom of not having to brush or comb hair along with the masculine look provided by short hair (or better yet, no hair) is addicting.

Pompous Peter, Preening Peter! by Manny I think Lawrence should get his top cleaned off of the whispy strands and his hairline around it lined up. Then a buff to shine up his dom. A blow dry for fullness on his sides and back surprises him more and some arches around his ears making them fully on display. I enjoy stories like these where boys or men go to a no nonsense male barber and get their money’s worth with an extremely short haircut. Not sure, as the father, I wouldn’t just make this military cut the boys regular cut. After all, either cut is short but this one would be easier to take care of. Basically no maintenance (no comb or hairbrush needed!). As a boy, not having to comb my hair would be a plus. If the father wanted his hair shorter for summer, then the full head shave would be a great style. Dario might shed a few tears the first few times his head was completely shaved but would soon come to enjoy the ease of being completely bald.
Although as a young boy, my parents let me grow my hair out (I always looked like a mess with hair long enough to cover my ears), I wish my parents had made me keep short regular boy haircuts growing up. I would have learned to ignore the teasers and kept my hair short as I really liked it. I probably would have asked for extremely short buzz cuts in the summer, like my cousins had and enjoyed not having hair to comb or brush.

Surprise at Work (Translation) by El Pelao Nothing like buzzed/shaved head solidarity. It’s usually unsaid but I notice it when I see other guys who are just as cueball bald as me. Having your hair shaved off the first few times is shocking. Once you realise the ease of being bald (as well as the compliments you get) a bald head becomes an awesome way of life.

Birthday party. by strictsir Another great story by you, @strictsir. As a young boy, a haircut like this would be torture only because of the teasing that would follow. Until I got teased about my big pointy ears, I enjoyed getting haircuts like you described. The feel of the big bulky clippers running up the back and sides of my head removing all the hair in their path felt awesome! Having all the insulation (hair) removed let the sides and back able to fully breathe. I loved running my hands over the stubble that was left for several days. The top was always cut too long and as such I was constantly nagged to comb it. Not sure why my parents never just gave me a buzz cut or baldy, at least for the summer. I would have loved it and most likely kept it that way until the torture and teasing started.

Una cabeza rapada al doble cero era un estigma imposible de ocultar. La historia está muy bien narrada, con la dosis de emoción necesaria para que el lector se enganche a la misma y tenga que leerla hasta el final. Además, es totalmente verosímil, seguramente en los barrios marginales del Madrid de los años cincuenta ocurrían estas cosas. It makes a very strong statement when you can walk into a barbershop and get most (even better if all) of your hair buzzed or shaved off.
