I remember my grandpa asking me if he should shear me down. He used to tell me that my uncle always asked to be sheared down. He even used the sheep shears on his head many times. This was the 70’s and short hair only existed on my cousin who pulled his hair out. I wouldn’t have dared to get buzzed down like this, although now, looking back, I really wish I had said yes at least once. Instead of fearing short hair and shaved heads, I would have opted in for them much sooner in life.

Muy gráfica la imagen de montañas de pelo de reclutas ensuciando el suelo, enganchándose en las botas de los soldados barberos. Todo sucedía a la carrera, sin tiempo para el detalle. Me imagino las bolsas de basura repletas de rizos y mechones. Lo de la lotería en la cabeza pelona de un recluta también tiene su punto. Slippery Slope by Almost Great story! Glad he transitioned to a full head shave, so quickly. It took me years to get there (I always wanted to be shaved bald, but didn’t have the balls to get the haircut I really wanted for years). Unfortunately my boyfriends were all against me shaving my head, which didn’t help.

Cut from a Family Friend by noguard Nate had the right idea for a haircut. Perhaps after he fully gets used to it he will tell Nate to ditch the hair altogether and have him buzz him down to a full on, no guard all over baldy. As great as the clippers feel on the sides, going over the top without a guard is a relaxing treat. The end result of having no hair to mess with is even better!

El autor se recrea en sus escritos presentándonos a barberos cada vez más sádicos, de una crueldad sin límites. El guardia civil, padre del muchacho, seguramente se hubiera conformado con un corte a cepillo militar para su hijo. Siempre son los barberos pasados de rosca los que llevan las cosas aún más lejos, hasta el extremo. Además, estas situaciones tan humillantes suelen crear en las víctimas sentimientos de culpa, o directamente los convierten en chicos con tendencias masoquistas. La barbería de Clemente 18 by BARBERO MILITAR ¡Menudo manipulador es el tal barbero Clemente! Para colmo de males, el padre del joven protagonista le elogia diciéndole que es un profesional de gran valía, un auténtico maestro de la profesión. Me da la sensación de que a un narcisista sádico, como el inclemente, lo peor que le puedes hacer es bailarle el agua y elogiarle. Seguramente se crecerá y pensará que rapar a jóvenes o incluso a caballeros es un derecho. Él decide como debe pelar a sus clientes y se acostumbrará a hacer lo que le dé la gana, hasta que se encuentre con la horma de su zapato y le den para el pelo. El autoritarismo y la soberbia no son virtudes. En los tiempos actuales las autoridades le habrían cerrado el local, después de pagar fuertes multas, como consecuencia de las quejas de sus clientes. El libro de reclamaciones estaría lleno de quejas de sus clientes eventuales. Mi hermano es teniente de la COE by Barbero Militar Creo que si este chaval acabase en un centro de acogida para huérfanos tendría que soportar menos disciplina que con su hermano, el teniente de la COE. La que se le viene encima es de echarse a temblar: ¡le han cortado el pelo al 00 y al 0000!, prácticamente le han afeitado la cabeza. El motivo es que el simpático teniente desea imponer la autoridad predicando con el ejemplo. Al chaval protagonista no creo que le sirva de consuelo ver a su hermano mayor del alma luciendo el mismo pelado. Como decimos en mi tierra, este buen militar tiene una pedrada para hacérselo mirar. El muchacho acepta mansamente el rapado impuesto y lo justifica inventándose una alopecia nerviosa. Bob Colton (or is it Coulton?) seemed to be the fine, upstanding guy in "Mr. Ennis' Discipline," but he's now become the bellicous, self-righteout loudmouth on an endless power trip. There's gotta be more to come on that front. Going unexpected directions for sure. And we haven't gotten to Mrs. Ennis yet! She wouldn't want to be called "Ms." For sure!

Death Sentence Part 4 by Sockboy I've been looking forward to your story but I think more about the actually haircutting would be a place to elaborate. How the hard steel clippers edge touches his smooth forehead and begins to travel up and how his mind raced as he saw his handsome hairline being mowed back. How each electric shock was aging him into a older balding man. Also now that his curls are gone his hair will be flat and if the cop begins to tease him about making the top thinner so he can worry about that and impending Norwood 4 bald spot. The shock of touching his new bigger forehead and not being able to hide his advancing hairloss from friends when the comment about his curls are history and his cropped short hair hides his 5 head. Maybe he'll be allowed to grow a comb over as his top becomes thinner and he desperately tries to hide his Norwood 4 or 5 bald spot. Corte de pelo a cepillo raimundiense 1 by BARBERO MILITAR En realidad a estos chavales no les ha engañado nadie; el autor nos deja bien claro que antes de ingresar en el internado conocían todo lo que se les venía encima: uniformidad extrema, corte de pelo rapado a maquinilla y disciplina ríigurosísima. Podían perfectamente haberse negado a ingresar en un lugar así. Además se convierten en cómplices de las autoridades escolares del lugar. Los padres no se enteran de nada, les edulcoran el tema y creen que sus hijos viven en un ambiente de tolerancia. Todo está bajo control. No obstante les convendría guardar las apariencias y que los funcionarios del ministerio de educación no tuvieran acceso a los secretos del centro. En 1977 ya no contaban con el amparo de las autoridades, había mucho revolucionario capaz de atacar a una institución como este internado que rezumaba tradicionalismo en cada uno de sus poros. No disimula el placer que le produce afeitar la cabeza a los jóvenes estudiantes y se pone así mismo como ejemplo a seguir. Un experimento de este tipo sería algo impensable en cualquier lugar del mundo. Ni tan siquiera en la tradicional Tailandia obligan a los estudiantes a pelarse como militares, las normas higiénicas que datan de 1972 han sido abolidas. En este colegio se permiten incluso hacer chistes al respecto. Esperemos que, además de pelar a los internos, éstos reciban una enseñanza de calidad y saquen sus estudios adelante. En mi niñez lo he sufrido cuando mi padre me llevaba al peluquero Sr. Ramos en Buenos Aires.

El aristócrata sevillano (completo) by BARBERO MILITAR Trama perfecta, historia redonda. Transformación personal a mejor, mediando un rapado total. La condición de aristócrata del protagonista no le sirvió para librarse de un pelado ejemplarizante; gracias a esta experiencia, se le bajaron los humos y se produjo en su interior una transformación, una auténtica conversión. La mortificación. Segunda parte by BARBERO MILITAR Parece que este relato ha sido escrito a posta para la época en que nos encontramos: Semana Santa. Los internos se quedaron sin vacaciones por culpa de los disturbios que se produjeron y en los que participaron algunos de los alumnos. Van a realizar penitencia en cantidades industriales para arrancarles de raíz la rebeldía juvenil. En cuanto al barbero se refiere, el hecho de llamarse Crescencio no auguraba nada bueno. Los padres habían claudicado, permitían que se rapara a sus hijos. Las lecturas piadosas, mientras se procedía a pelar a los jóvenes, crearían un ambiente claustrofóbico, en el que se encumbraba la penitencia y se renunciaba a las cosas mundanas. Suele ocurrir que para superar situaciones traumáticas la mente las convierte en placenteras. Con el paso del tiempo, el terrible don Juan Arsénico comenzó a ser reconocido por los alumnos como un excelente profesor. Sus rigurosos métodos educativos favorecieron que aquellos muchachos desnortados se convirtieran en excelentes estudiantes. My hair never really felt right to me. I definitely found my identity once I had decided a shaved head was going to permanently be my haircut of choice. Now I can’t even imagine having any hair.

Tricked by buzztob When he said all cut off I thought he would have had the balding clippers run over his entire head. The grandfather could have made it much more severe. However if this was the 70’s it would have almost been an equivalent to a shaved head.
