"She's Given You A Good Scalpin'" by SteDJ Love'd it and all the details in it, it is very well written I can see myself in that same chair having my hair cut as a young boy always in a short back and sides, my mom use to go to a similar establishment were in the front was a barbershop shop and to the side/back there were booths were the lady's had there hair done, a lot of times when my mom went for a perm or n wash and set i'm having my own hair cut, she will give instructions to the barber's to give me a short back and sides haircut, a lot of times I felt like Stephen although the barber always cut my hair, about 30 years ago I met a couple at my church, we became good friends they met at college were they studie to become hairdressers he went afterwards and did the barber course to, they fell in love and were married after college working at the same salon he left the salon and went to work in a barber shop learning the trade, after becoming a barber and working there a few years at the shop they decided to start there own business she did lady' cut and he men's lots of times they will be helping each other out when one off them did not have a clients. they are both good in there trades looking forward to more off your story's by Skin fade on 06 Feb 2025

A New Career by Armando94 Great story, Armando, and thanks for commenting on my recent submission. It can be hard to make a big change. I liked that priest struck up a normal friendship with a new parishioner. Unlike another commenter, I hope the priest stays true to his vows/Holy Orders. Even with all the terrible abuse history, the vast majority of priests, religious sisters, monks, and nuns do stay true to their vows. I would hope that should this priest find he was in love with anyone of either gender, he would first seek dispensation from his vows before acting on it. The flattop is such a game changer haircut and not for the cowardly. It is only beaten in severity by a completely bald shaved head.
Took me a while to work up the nerve for a flattop. When I did it was a long one. Didn’t work well with my extremely fine hair. So two days later, went to another barber and got about the most severe flattop you can get. Loved it but fine hair doesn’t work well with it( constant maintenance). Finally father nature gave me his full sentence and flattop was no longer feasible. Fortunately I had built up the courage by then to go full on headshave. But I digress….
I predict Henry will grow to love the flattop just like he will love his new hometown.

The Road Trip & The Barbershop Showdown by ShaggyDS Sam made the right move by getting brutally sheared. When it comes to hair on a male, the shorter the better! Sam should enjoy this haircut as the maintenance is very minimal. Back in the chair every two weeks and he’ll appreciate the ease of such a short cut.
Only way to go shorter is a full head shave. It’s quite a bit more maintenance but well worth it.

Old story I'm looking for a story that used to be in this site. Two friends had a bet and one lost. He was wearing suit and tie but ended up wearing just satin boxers and a cape as he sat down the barber's chair. He was meticulously shave with zero clipper, trimmer, razor twice, applied both cream and hairspray to make his head slick shiny bald. Military Regulation If You Want! by Jonathan One's I had a similar experience, i had a haircut two weeks before and was yust wanted a bit off a trim around my ears and neckline for a friends wedding, i went to a barbershop I didn't know and ask the barber for a square cut with yust a little off the top, he kept on asking what no clipper guard i wanted him to cut my the sides and back the more I said I didn't want it so short the more he asked but what no off clipper guard I wanted, the more I said yust to trim it a bit around the ears and square the back and that I don't need or want it much shorter than it was I yust needed a slight trim for a wedding of a friend at the old end I yust wanted it over and said use whatever no you think will look good as long as it is not to short he gave me a no1 at the bottom around my ears and at my neck a cut it up to my crown with the no2 clipper blade ,the top he also cut way to short and left it about 4cm and thinned the top

NEXT David soon by Barbershop memmories Wow that brings back many memories for me as a young boy having a short back and sides cut with a clipper shaved to 2/3 fingers above my ear and 3/4 fingers from my collar at the back of my head, my hair on top was thinned out short laying flat comb to the right side and the front flip over, o how I was teased and being the yoke with my short hair and i sometimes said how I hated it secretly yust loving it, and saying it looked like a "pee-pot" was put on your head and the hair around it was shaved off there was a boy in my class that had a sort of a bowl cut and some of the kids said that they used a real "pee-pot" for that haircut deep down In my heart I had the longing to ask the barber to cut my sides and back shorter and higher and to cut it also shorter on top thinning it more, but i never had the ball's to ask... now I have my hair cut in a fade at times I ask the barber to cut it real high and short and to razor shave the sides and back, I must confess this is now my favorite cut and have lot's of fantasy dreams about how it's cut, at one time I had my hair on top cut in a short buzz cut but that it was not for me, although if I see a guy with long hair having a buzz'cut or a buzz'cut fade I would look at it with a longing to maybe try it again one day...and maybe it will not look as bad then lot's of time's I have my top cut to a no5 15mm and having my fringe cut a bit longer to where it in a combover by Skin fade on 01 Feb 2025
