I scoffed by Domko Perhaps it best he keep that haircut going forward. Come summer, a full shave down would do the trick.

New mission, new look by Manny This story hits so many marks. Gay Mormons are more common than many people know. The haircuts in Mormon land are definitely true. In a place like Salt Lake, barbershops willing to cut your hair down to virtually nothing are all over.
SLC is where I started my journey into short hair. I remember getting my first flattop there feeling like I was almost bald.(it was extremely short with the back and sides shaved). Now looking back, that seems like long hair to me, especially as I watched other guys get completely buzzed down to nothing.

There is an LDS family on YouTube one of the Twin sons went on a mission, but it seems like they have really become less demanding on the geeky cuts. And they let them have smart phones and call home too. I think every one of us remembers a situation similar to this with an unplanned haircut. We fought to keep our hair and usually tears were involved. As a boy, I always felt picked on for having to get short haircuts while my sisters could keep their hair as long as they wanted. I remember many a time when my big ears would turn red from embarrassment.
Judging from boys haircuts today (some almost as bald as me), not sure getting all your hair shaved off today is looked down upon for boys.
Knowing what I do about short haircuts now, I wish I had been subjected to more severe scalpings like this.
