With I had had the balls to ask for/get that haircut in school years. Not sure I ever would have let it grow back. Having a baldy, or a completely bald head is so awesome.
As many times as folks thought I was a girl due to my hair, a baldy certainly would have taken that question away. I would go to my grandparents who desperately wanted me to cut my hair. Instead of just saying "you are getting a haircut ", they would ask if I wanted one. My answer was always no. I wish grandpa took me to the barbers and just told him to cut it short. Unfortunately he wouldn’t have cut the top short and I still would have had a mess of hair to comb on top of my head. The sides would have been skinned though.

El autor, con su dominio del lenguaje, añadiendo una buena dosis de intriga al relato, consigue captar la atención del lector. Se nos cuenta algo muy simple pero con gran categoría literaria. Los pequeños espías no estaban dispuestos a renunciar a asistir, en vivo y en directo, al rapado de dos muchachos de su edad, para colmo gemelos. Como no pueden contemplar visualmente la ejecución capilar de estos pobres hermanos, se imaginan la situación. Sin embargo, si quedan fascinados al contemplar el resultado. Llaman la atención de otros viandantes, hasta el punto de pensar que pertenecían a algún reformatorio.
