Era una institución dedicada a enderezar a los jóvenes varones que se habían apartado del buen camino. Se trata de un relato lleno de sorpresas como asociar a los pelirrojos con la imagen de Judas. Por su bien, aconsejaría a los muchachos que obedecieran las órdenes de sus superiores sin rechistar porque tienen todas las de perder. Es conveniente que se despidan de sus cabelleras porque van a lucir brutales pelados, todos igualitos para que no haya envidias entre ellos. Por el hecho de haber nacido entre algodones y contar con una posición económica desahogada, el protagonista de la historia se cree superior a los demás, con más derechos que nadie. Las medidas disciplinarias que se toman en aquel acuartelamiento de la marina son de tal calado que consiguen reconducir por el buen camino al joven, enderezarlo. Se produce una transformación en su interior, una auténtica conversión. La maquinilla del 00000 es el instrumento que fulmina la altanería, a la par que reduce a la nada el cabello del caballerete al que se le castiga. Recuerdos de la epoca del colegio by JAVA Aquellos colegios católicos, exclusivos para varones, con uniforme y cortes de pelo a la americana eran fascinantes. Por desgracia la enseñanza a tomado unos derroteros que nos conducen al abismo. La actual sociedad en que vivimos es nauseabunda en muchos aspectos. Lo del corte de pelo que nuestro amigo JAVA recibía todos los meses se puede considerar un verdadero premio. The Adventure by Manny (recovered) Love a good makeover from a no nonsense barber. This guy was wanting it all buzzed down. And this is what he got! Glad the barber skipped the goop and instead just cut the top closer. Once you lose a lot of hair like that, it really becomes tough to even think about letting it grow back.
Back in the days when I still had hair, before my flattop, I would always ask for my hair to be cut one length shorter than I "wanted " it., or so I convinced myself. Truth is, I always wanted it shorter than I got it cut. When I went to a different barber and asked for it to go really short (extreme), it was shocking but also what I really liked. I also knew that once I started going shorter, my desire to go even shorter would continue until I got my head shaved smooth bald. But the regular readers here already knew this about me.

Por muy severo que fuera su padre nunca se comportaría de manera tan despótica como lo hizo el director; un padre tiende a proteger a su hijo mientras que don Justino tan sólo desea someterlo, lo quiere convertir en alguien sumiso, incapaz de tomar sus propias decisiones. Con este fin, ordena raparlo al cero y para colmo de males le hacen una coronilla, algo que tras el Concilio Vaticano II había caído en desuso. I feel bad for Rusty and Sal. All the years they spent trying to hide their baldness, instead of embracing and enjoying it. I kick myself for not having the balls to shave my head when I first really thinned at 29. Instead I got a flattop. Although fun, a bald head is what I really wanted (it would have looked better too).

Algunos chavales lo pasarían mal y se rebelarían ante la situación. La historia de los soldados y los colegiales tampoco tiene desperdicio.
