As boys we all got teased about short hair. My cousin, who used to pull his hair out, always got buzzed short, so he couldn’t pull it. I remember teasing him, making hand motions of clippers going over his head. Once while visiting, he was getting his hair buzzed off. My parents made me sit and watch the haircut. They kept asking if I wanted to be next to get the same haircut. Back then it was a "no way " because I would have been horribly teased by my sisters and at school. Had I not been teased, I would’ve gladly sat and had most of my hair buzzed off.
Then I was nervous even watching his haircut. Today, I would have gladly watched and anxiously waited to get my own head buzzed down to almost nothing. It’s definitely cool now to see young boys with buzzed heads. It’s also awesome to see so many men with shaved bald heads. I know fashions change but I don’t see shaved heads losing fashion: thank goodness!

Sure, the kink or fetish doesn’t involve children directly, but it’s still a kink/fetish. That makes this an inherently sexual environment. Even if the story doesn’t have sexually explicit content, *it still exists in a sexually explicit context.* It’s an open secret that this website exists for NSFW purposes.
If I’m being completely honest, I don’t even understand why there’s any debate about this. This website exists for inherently NSFW reasons, and the entire conversation should start and end right there. I genuinely cannot believe that some people are legitimately arguing that they should be able to include children in their stories on THIS website.
Anyone using "My fetish started when I was a kid" as justification for writing stories about children has either not expanded/evolved their preferences since then or is intentionally misrepresenting the issue; I am honestly not sure which one is more concerning. The story might not include any sexually explicit content, but neither does an ordinary haircut. It really should not have to be said, but something does not need to include explicit sex to exist in a sexual context.
TL;DR: It’s perfectly fine to use stories to explore how your interests came about. But this is not the website to publish them on. Would have loved to have a summer buzz which would have been so easy to take care of. It would be ten years before I had a barber take me down to a three quarter inch burr. If only my parents had ever suggested or given me a haircut like that, I’m sure I would have gladly stayed with the buzzed off hair until I got teased about my ears in fourth grade. I was even afraid of getting a short haircut at the beginning of summer, in fear that my hair wouldn’t grow back by start of school.
