My turn... by BaldBearded Wow, just found this story. How awesome to have a roommate who wants both heads shaved. I think there are more guys out there who get turned on either watching or getting heads buzzed or shaved.
I also never understood guys who have had their heads shaved but then sport a bad MPB look when they could just go back to the full head shave.

Nothing to hide by BaldBearded Great story! For those of us with bald shaved heads, once you accept being bald, it’s actually a relief and feels oh so great.
Looking back to my own hair, I think the flattop was my transition haircut. Although when I look back at pics with that haircut, I could see I was only trying to cover my baldness. Back in the early 90’s, white boys didn’t have shaved heads. Even when I shaved my head (had tried it a few times previously) in 99, completely bald white guys were rare. If I could have done it over, I would have skipped the flattop with its high maintenance and just shaved my head clean years before I did.
Like Ethan, I got lots of compliments on the bald head. Only difference is I loved it once I got past all the reactions from others (almost all were positive though).

Buy a hair clipper by July A crazed mother for sure, with a mean streak shaving her kids. Says nothing about how long mom’s hair is? Regardless, the first of every month would be a time dreaded by the teenagers in that house. The two boys being scalped against their will. Being buzzed bald with no clipper guard was forced on them, and their sister who shed tears while her hair is clipped.into an unwanted bob by the cruel mother. Long term consequences for this mean spirited mom. Her children as adults, with kids of they’re own would alienate grandma, and for good reason. I don’t like to be harsh on comments . Like a Local - part 2 by Manny You've got something going here, Manny. This could be a series. Imagine a washed-up rock star, a one hit wonder whosc career implodes and he returns to the hometown where he flipped everyone the bird, needing a job and moving in with his parents, who insist that if he's going to live there, he's going to have to fit into the old culture he hated. His flashy clothes and his flowing locks were an issue before. Mom and Dad tell him his first step is a visit to Charlie, his former barber, who proceeds to replicate the flattop he had as a kid. The ex-star finds himself aroused by the shearing, and ends up junking his fancy outfits in favor of jeans, western shirts and T-shirts. He's razzed by many but takes a job at a local grocer stocking shelves, with regular haircuts part of his re-acclamation, and he begins to embrace his past, going to church with Mom and Dad, dating a woman he thought was a "goody two shoes" and with his haircuts keeping him grounded, becomes a model citizen. Nothing to hide by BaldBearded Its nice he found he liked being fully bald. Personally I wished he loved his flattop and bald landingstrip and clean bald sides. I think its a sharp cut that he shouldnt have been made to feel bad about. Reid by Bald K Great story loved it i had my head shaved for about 5 yearsi loved it, i would shave it off and keep shaving my head for a few months and then let it grow for a few month, also had a few short flattop's with shaved sides and back which I love'd to and then I had no2 side's and back and no6 on top in summer and in the winter I will go with a no8 on top, but the last 8 years I had fade haircut's, from low to mid to high even a few buzz cut fade's between March and May I had 2/3 south side fade and then I buzz my head to no3 front going to no2 and the sides and back faded high around the sides and back, my fade'i go nuts for is a high/tight fade with a no5 15mm on top...I hope we will get a part 2 off the story it was good really good I felt like asking my stylist tomorrow to yust shave my head...O'YES SIR PLEASE SIR THANK YOU SIR... by Skin fade on 12 Aug 2025

Buy a hair clipper by July You are right, having hair doesn't benefit teen boys don't need it. Shaving their head at home is à gold solution to keep them bald. Forced me to live out my fetish by Snagg What a great story I loved it I grew up with short back and sides and had it cut that way until after i turned 18 and i went to the army, our 1st haircut was short back and sides when we went to the army, i can remember it was always 2/3 fingers above my ears and 3/4 fingers above my hair line in the back, and I will go back every 2 weeks to the barber's for a haircut and some times even every week, some times my hair will be cut with a hand clipper's by a some one son who lived 3 houses from us, and BOY'O'BOY did that clipper's pull your hair I hated them...as I hated the haircut...But deep down In my inner sole I loved the haircut...and couldn't wait for the next time my dad would say came along we are going I new we will stop at the butchers and green grocers for the week's meat, veg and fruit, and there will be a chocolate or pct off crisps for us kids...that was always our treat for the weekend...o how I long for those days will not mind to get a short back and sides haircut again, one like the barber's bid those days and one with the hand clipper's NOW that I am in my 60's i have my hair'cut ever 3 weeks or sometimes longer to a high skin fade my stylist do a great haircut nice and short and when I get home I take my scull shaver and go over the clipper shave side's and back to make it nice and smoooooooth That feel of smooth skin is the best feeling ever....I wish we had a barber in our town that you can yust walk to sit down let him cut my fade and walk out I will go every week... we're our stylist is so busy I can only go every 2 to 3 weeks an appointment ...in March I was so daring to ask my stylist for a south side fade i showed him a foto and asking him to clipper'shave it 3 to 4 fingers above my crown I had this cut for almost 3 months and I love 😍 love it. My big haircut that i stil want to get is a recon horse shoe flat top nice and short with almost no hair to comb and all around the shoe and the lending strip must be taken to skin razor shaved smooth I wish I could be some where on a visit for a month and have my hair cut every Monday and Friday mornings that will be such a thrill my friends say if you went for the south side fade why are you afraid to go to the barber's sit on the barber's chair show him the cut you wanted ask him if he can turn turn the chair so that you can't see the haircut cut it and show you how it looks at the end..... by Skin fade on 07 Aug 2025

asking for a shaving by lrb When I was 12 a few days before school pictures I corrected my stepdad in front of his friends and the day before pictures he took me to the barbers for a high and tight flattop with shoe. I was totally self conscious, but my friends knew stepdad was a dick and I wasn't teased much. Stepdad was boasting about military service and our house and I told his friends he was discharged as a private due to a drug test and that our house was from my dad before he died. Final Tally: Butch Cuts, 6 by Manny Great story! I laughed at first when they were referring to a #2 as a baldy. Once the men got #1 buzz cuts, we were starting to get into short hair territory. Going from business to 1 butch would have been an exciting transformation, especially on the adults. Hopefully this was the start of much shorter hair for all.
Also sounds like romance growing while the hair is falling. SWEET!
