"The Karl Cut" by Andrew cluer

The barber shop is situated near the university, and advertised in their window that there were special rates for students. "High and Tight" haircuts were particularly popular at the time.Bearing this in mind, Andrew decided to investigate further. He was looking to get, at the very least, that "High and Tight" look. The young barber was tall and athletic-looking, with a most-becoming "Bald Cut". His smoothly-shaved head gleamed under the electric strip light. He said "Hello, Sir", as he went over to the door to put up "The Closed Sign". He promptly returned to finishing off shaving the remaining stubble off a student`s head. Andrew thought that this foreign-looking chap had just the right-shaped head for a close shave , and suddenly he had a sharp feeling of excitement in the pit of his stomach. The barber glanced up at him momentarily, and smiled, as he struck up a conversation. "Karl first came in here, sporting a "Crew Cut". A lot of our students, when they are away from home, like to try out different radical hairstyles. Karl was particularly taken with a photo of a guy to whom I gave a very narrow shadow of a "Landing Strip; so he went for that more distinctive hairstyle, without any hesitation; eventually favouring "A Tricon", which is only a faint triangular shadow. This was the minimum amount of hair that he then allowed himself. Now you cannot bear to have any hair on your head, Karl, can you ? so you enjoy coming to see me every three days". He then rubbed baby oil on Karl`s rather beautiful shorn head", and he then asked Andrew what he would like done with his hair, and received an instant reply :- "Take it all off, I`ll have a "Karl Cut"... "If that is indeed the case, Karl would like to watch what I do, so is that okay by you ?" Andrew agreed, and was not surprised to see a look of intense excitement in that handsome young man`s eyes paying him particular attention. Soon enough, Andrew was caped up, and the clippers began to whirr and vibrate
as, the sideboards rapidly disappeared , along with the curls around his ears. The barber made a point of really grinding his brown balding clippers into the back of Andrew`s neck, several times... It was an amazing sensation, and it was not long before he was completely bald. "You have the right-shaped head, and like Karl, you do really suit this look", said the barber, as he commenced massaging Andrew`s bald pate, prior to applying shaving cream for two very careful sessions with the cut throat razor; with the result that not a single hair survived...."If you live locally, come and see me twice a week, at a time to correspond with Karl, and you will then be able to watch Karl, and Karl can watch you, "said the barber. Karl instantly agreed with this enterprising suggestion, and agreed that it would certainly give him "The Feel-Good". Andrew then said that he would look forward to returning in three days time to have another "Karl Cut". "You have made the right decision" said the dashing young barber, winking at both of them...
