This is a true story, I am 21 years old, going into my senior year of college. I had long hair for most of my life. I had long black hair past my shoulders and one day I thought it was time for a change. I found some cheap clippers around my house and decided the long hair had to go. I plugged the clippers in and turned them on. However I paused. Was I really going to do this? I turned the clippers off, I looked at the clippers then to my long hair it was past my shoulders. Then I removed the guard from the clippers, turned them on and mowed right down the center of my head. A white strip was now in the middle of my head where my hair once was. I continue to shear away at my long locks until there was just stubble left. I turned on my shower and cleaned up, washing the little hairs left on the head away. After I looked in the mirror I was a different person my long hair was no more all that remained was little black stubble. I knew I wasn’t done, I wanted to be bald, I wanted to have that cue ball look, chrome dome, after having long thick hair for most of my life I wanted to be free. Nothing I wanted no trace of hair on my head. I lathered up some shaving cream on my head and took a razor to it. After scraping away at my head for what seemed like forever I was done. I was bald. Friends and family were shocked to see the change but I couldn’t be any more happier with the change. I don’t see any hair in my future for a while.
