I just recently moved to a new town and I was looking for a new barber. I found one with great reviews, and booked a skin fade. I have about 5 inches of length on top, and I keep the sides very short. I just wanted about an inch off the top, and a nice skin fade on the sides.

The day comes, and I show up for my appointment at this very manly barbershop. I hear "Korey?" And I look up to see this tatted, handsome, buzzed man with muscles standing by his chair, ready to cape me up.

"What would you like done today, man?" He says.

I was so awestruck by how beautiful this barber was that I could barely get words out. I say "let’s do 1 on the top, and a skin fade on the side."

"You got it, man" he says.

I sit back, trying not to stare at this gorgeous man who is about to give me a cut. Little do I know, he is attaching the #1 guard to the clippers, and before I can say anything, he pulls my locks backward, and pushes the cold clippers down the middle of my head.

I am completely in awe, and I have no words! What did I just do!?

He notices I’m a little uneasy, so he asks, "you good man?"

I say "I meant only an inch off the top."

He was so embarrassed and so mortified. I look at him, and go "just keep going, I’ve been wanting something like this for a while!"

He continues to run his clippers through my long hair until there’s nothing but stubble.

I look at him, he looks at me. He says "I think it looks good" and smiles at me.

He then rips the cape off, and turns me around so I can see my new self. I gasp! But I knew deep down, my new buzz cut was so hot!
