Wanna go for it? (My True Story, vol. 5) by InnocentKink

The first day of summer was fast approaching, and I was itching to try a new and radical style on myself. I had gotten a buzzcut a few months prior, but today I had something a little more gutsy in mind. For years I had wondered what it would be like to have my head, face, and eyebrows shaved.

I had a barber fully shave my head for the first time when I was 18, and have probably had the full treatment done a couple dozen times. It’s always been a fantasy to keep my head shaved for a period of time, but I’ve never made it past a few days due to peer pressure and comments from others. I always thought shaved heads on others were the coolest look out there, and loved the feeling of having my own head shaved to the bone, but never kept it up long enough to adjust to the style.

About five years ago, the last time I had a full headshave, I was also considering having the eyebrows removed. It went as far as the barber trimming them down to a #2 and talking me out of it, saying that I’d look like an alien if I didn’t have eyebrows, that I needed to have something in their place, and that they would take months to grow back. I took his professional opinion that shaving my eyebrows is a choice one should NOT make.

My date with destiny had come and on the morning of June 22, I walked into my barbershop, and my barber was waiting for me. I was seated directly into his chair with no waiting, and no time to contemplate whether I was ready for what I wanted.

"What are we doing today?" asked my barber.

I replied, "Since its the first day of summer, I’m thinking I want a shaved head."

He responded, "That’s as good a reason as any, a shaved head is perfect for the summer", then for confirmation, he asked, "all off, as in ALL OFF? I’ll use a clipper at its shortest setting, then an electric razor over the whole head?"

I nodded in confirmation and told him that sounded perfect. Now, whether I’d chicken out when it came time for my eyebrows or be talked out of it remained to be seen.

"A bald head for the summer, eh?" he remarked as he chuckled and snapped his maroon cape around my neck. I once again smiled and nodded in agreement.

Very quickly, the bare blade clippers plunged into my scalp, and in a matter of minutes, my head was reduced to stubble. The soothing, yet all encompassing vibration of the clipper motor on my scalp is a familiar and comforting feeling. The cold steel on nearly bare scalp and reverberating feeling in my brain confirms what I can’t see in the mirror; that I will soon be a baldy once again!

The first phase is over in a few short minutes, and the barber is now rubbing my scalp raw with his electric clippers. He makes multiple passes all over my head to make sure any faint signs of hair are removed. The barber’s grip on my bare scalp as he checks his handiwork is intoxicating.

In less than ten minutes, my scalp had been fully denuded, and talcum powder was being generously applied. I love the smell of Clubman Talcum Powder, a true sign that one has just been to the barbershop.

The moment of truth had arrived, the barber asked me if I’d like my eyebrows trimmed. I said that I was actually thinking about having those shaved too. He then said that he’d trim them extra short, and then I could look at them and decide if I wanted them even shorter. I couldn’t believe I had the guts to go this far, and I had no idea how I’d look with "extra short" eyebrows, but it was too late to turn back now!

The barber ran his clippers freehand over my eyebrows. I felt them buzz down my eyebrows and I saw them fall in front of my eyes. He then grabbed the hand mirror for me to inspect the damage.

My bushy eyebrows were reduced to little, faint, eyebrows. I asked the barber if we could go shorter, and he nodded in confirmation. He then freehanded the clippers even shorter over my eyebrows. I was getting pretty nervous at this point.

He then showed me the current state again; this time I had mere patches, or shadows of eyebrows.

He commented, "Not much left to do but shave ‘em, do you wanna go for it?"

"Lets do it" I replied, as I gripped the armrests. My heart was beating out of my chest, and could not believe I was actually undergoing this transformation.

He then ran the electric shaver over my eyebrows, making multiple passes over them, and feeling them with his fingers to ensure they were spotless. It was a radical feeling to have such sensations where my eyebrows once were.

After he was completed, I felt my eyebrows, and sure enough they were hairless. I was nervous to see the final product. When they were revealed to me, I couldn’t believe it. It was indeed a wild, radical, and daring transformation.

I paid, thanked, and tipped my barber well, and as I left, I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror as I left the shop. Not only was my head fully shaved, but my eyebrows had been fully removed! I could hardly recognize myself.

I couldn’t believe it, after five years, I finally had a bald head once again! I couldn’t stop looking at my new bald head in the mirror, and was totally proud of myself for having not only my head, but my eyebrows shaved! I certainly did look alien without a hair above my neck.

The eyebrows slowly but surely grew back, and I kept my head shaved for over a month. It truly was a bucket list experience. I’m jonesing for an even more radical cut next summer, if that’s even possible. Any dares???
