I found this story, posted, in dutch, by Geert Salomons, in 2020, and he asked for a translation. So now I tried my best, using online translator. I hope it keeps the idea he wanted to bring.
(Sorry, I also had to deal with no paragraphs in the original story, and I'm not sure I caught everything right in the last parts)
The story of Bo and Luke

It was on a summer Saturday afternoon that Luke and Bo walked out the door of the farmhouse where they lived with their Uncle Jesse.
They had already said to each other that morning that they both needed a haircut and Uncle Jesse had also said that to them.
They walked to the red car in front of the door and got in and drove to Hazard Count, the village where they lived.
When they got there they drove to Anna's Salon, because that is where they always went when they needed a haircut.
When they got there it seemed very quiet, they got out and walked to the door, on the door was a sheet of paper saying that Anna's was out of business and that customers who wanted a haircut were welcome at Boss' Salon.
They discussed with each other what to do best, they did not want to go to this salon, because the owner, Boss Hogg did not like them and they did not like him.
But they came to the conclusion that they should go to Boss' salon anyway, they got in the car and drove in the direction of Boss' salon.
When they arrived there they stopped the car and walked to the door, opened it and stepped inside.
They took off their coats and sat down on the chairs that were there, there was no other customers in the saloon, it was very quiet.
They sat there for a few minutes, when they heard shuffling and footsteps from the back of the room, they got closer and closer the footsteps were from barber Boss Hogg himself.
The fat little man who was the owner of this saloon slowly came strolling up and said "Boy, hello Duke boys, what brings you here?"
Bo spoke up and said "we both wanted a haircut and we read that Anna's Salon is closed, so we came here"
"okay" said Boss "but my helper Roscoe isn't here, I'll just cut you one at a time"
The boys said "okay that's fine" "who wanted to get a haircut first then?" asked Boss.
The boys said "let's flip a coin" Bo wanted tails and Luke automatically got heads.
The coin was flipped and it came down to tails, Bo got up and walked behind Boss to the chair and sat down.
Boss waved him a cape and asked "how can I cut your hair?" right after that said Boss "or just a nice smooth cut again?"
Bo looked at Boss and said "that's okay" Boss grabbed the black plant sprayer and started wetting Bo's hair.
Luke couldn't look at it anymore and said to Boss and Bo "I'm going for a Walk, I'll be back in about half an hour for my haircut" "okay said both men"
Meanwhile Boss went on with wetting Bo's hair, Luke opened the door of the barbershop and stepped outside.
Wwhen he closed the door behind him ,he saw Roscoe walking in the distance and he thought "oh no" but it was already too late, Roscoe had already seen him and said "did you want a haircut?"
Luke said "yes" and he told Roscoe that Boss was cutting Bo now, and then he would cut him.
Roscoe said "I have time to cut yours now and you will be ready at the same time".
Luke said "that's good" but Luke had to swallow because he had heard that once Roscoe was cutting his hair he would be unstoppable and cut off too Much.
Roscoe and Luke walked back into the barbershop, and Boss and Bo looked at them in amazement.
Bo immediately felt sorry for Luke, because he had also heard the stories.
Luke sat down in the chair Roscoe pointed out to him, Roscoe also waved a cape in front of him and asked him how he wanted it "cut off", said Luke, "okay" said Roscoe.
Meanwhile, Boss had wet and combed Bo's hair and started to cut the back of it nice and short, thick tufts of curly hair fell on the floor.
By now Roscoe had also wet Luke's hair and started to cut the back of it short, Luke felt it was quite short and from the corner of his eye he saw black hair swirling down his ears.
Luke saw his ears again and he didn't like that at all.
Bo's top hair was next and Boss combed up tuft by tuft and cut off what was above his fat fingers off, all the time there was a lot of curly hair falling onto the cape.
Boss combed the bangs to the front of Bo's face and cut it off straight and blunt, and Boss said the sideburns should be gone completely, and without waiting for an answer he shaved them off in one simple movement, and then he combed Bo's hair all over and it looked good in his opinion.
Bo had gotten a very short haircut, he thought it was not so pretty but felt more sorry for his cousin who had now to deal with the clippers on the back and sides, they were shaved high and the last tufts of hair fell down, then it was the time for the top.
Roscoe made short spikes of the top hair and what could be combed back just as it was combed into shape, Luke was done too.
He was very grumpy and both boys left the barbershop angry. They swore they would never visit that barbershop again.
