Jack was your average guy. He kept a good physique. He made sure to work out each morning before school. His hair was a dark brown and it wasn’t too long. he kept it to a side part. Jack was friends with a guy named Chris. Chris had hair a good amount longer than Jack’s. It was also brown, but fluffy and perfectly sat upon his head. Jack had been sort of thinking about growing his hair out a bit, as he was sort of sick of the same old hair he had for his whole life. Alas though, during his most recent visit to the barbers, his hair was buzzed off just like usual. Only this time, it seemed shorter. Usually, he had a tuft of hair that was a little longer at the front to keep some style control, but this time, it seemed everything was buzzed off to one length all around. Jack wasn’t really happy with this though. His friend Chris took an immediate notice to this. Jack and Chris conversed about this. "I like your haircut" Chris exclaimed. "It seems shorter than your usual haircuts, you went full buzz" "do you really like it?" Jack replied. "Yeah, it looks good on you" Jack didn’t quite believe him. Jack also didn’t really seem to think he had a full on buzzcut though. "Did the barber take the clippers and pass them from the front to the back of your head?" Chris asked. "No… maybe, I guess." Jack replied. Maybe Chris was right. What does it feel like to have such short hair? Does it ever feel weird?" Chris asked. "I don’t know, you get used to it after a couple weeks" He replied. "What if I buzzed my hair." Chris put out. Jack was in shock. "I think your hair looks perfect" Chris blushed. Jack had always been slightly jealous of Chris’ hair, but in an admiration way. "I low-key have always thought about it. What if I just braved the shave? We could be twins!" Chris was joking around at this point. "You know if you want to, go for it" Jack said, playing it into it, "I think you’d look great." "Hey, i’ll let you do it!" Chris stated. "You want me to buzz your head???" Jack was really getting a kick out of this. "Ok" Jack jokingly said. "Perfect. Can I come over tonight?" Chris asked. " Jack was confused now. Was Chris being serious… "Of course we’ll have to stop at CVS and pick up some clippers" Chris continued. Was this really happening, Jack thought to himself. "ok" Jack replied again. After school, Jack drove Chris to CVS before making their way back to Jack’s house. When they got to Jack’s house, they went straight to Jack’s basement. Chris sat down in a chair. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Jack asked as he plugged the clippers in. "I’m sure." Chris replied. "But you have such nice hair, it’s perfect." Jack was really nervous for Chris. "I’m ready" Chris said as he played with his hair one last time. Jack grabbed Chris’ hair "This is all gonna be gone" Jack taunted. He moved his hand to his head, rubbing it, "You wanna feel what your hair’s gonna feel like in a second?" Jack teased. Chris took a feel, almost caressing Jack’s head. It felt nice. So short. Was he really about to do this? No, he was this far, he had to. "Feels good to me" Chris said. "Alright then" Jack replied. "What guard do you want?" Jack asked. "Let’s try a 4" Chris replied. Jack suggest they started with an 8, but Chris seemed to have his mind set on a 4. Jack turned on the clippers and the two boys listened to the clippers roar to life. Jack put the clippers against the crown of Chris’ head. "Ok." Jack said one last time. He moved the clippers across Chris’ head watching as Chris’ fluffy hair cascaded down on to the ground. All that was left was stubble. Jack was amazed. He couldn’t believe Chris’ perfect hair was on the ground. He continued, passing the clippers along Chris’ head. "How’s it looking?" Chris asked. "So far so good" Jack replied. Jack was still in amazement. This was certainly not something he expected to ever be doing. Jack continued to pass the clippers all throughout Chris’ head. "Done. You’re all buzzed." Jack stated, once he finished. He couldn’t believe that Chris’ perfect head of hair was gone. They went into the bathroom to see how it looked. "We really do look like twins" Jack exclaimed. "It looks good" he continued. "and i wouldn’t have rather had anyone else do it". Chris replied. "I think you look better" Jack added.
