Note: It's my first story and got inspiration from many stories in this site. Hope you enjoyed. Thanks.
The kingdom invites their man to attend a royal hunting competition. The competition itself is a yearly event that the kingdom do as a way for their young man to learn how to survive in the nature. In this competition, the participant can do anything, include attack another participant as long as they not kill each other.
As the sun started to rising, the hunter is gathered in front of forest gate. There are so many participants with different background. Noble attend this competition to show their house power. Hunter joined this competition to get an expensive hunt, while peasant joined to train them self.
Wright Yoon is one of that participant. He just started his new life as a reckless hunter with a bad sense of humor. He is a bastard of a Yoon family, one of three strongest noble family. Even he not inherited their last name, he inherits his family characteristic. A toned body with fairly bright skin, sharp ocean blue eyes, and a blood-red hair make him stand out in crowd. Whoever in that kingdom could tell that he come from Yoon family.
Thanks to that, he got many noble friend and of course many enemies too. Today, he had another purpose on joining this competition because he knows that some of his enemies is participated too. But the best part is the great hair of the other participant. In this kingdom, hair is deemed as a sign of dignity and that's why almost every man here had a great hair.
He himself, had a thick, dense, medium quiff hair that he hide under his hunter hat. After the competition started, he begins his journey by setting a trap that will hang the pray in the nearest tree. It's not long after he finished the trap and its already give a sign of pray. Wright smile happily to get his first hunt, but its not an animal that trapped. He recognizes that it's his former childhood friend named Reyn Emeralde. Reyn is a kind and gentle noble, but he is still the naive one. Their other friend, Gallard is keep make fun of Wright, but Reyn just laughing together with Gallard. He may not notice, but Wright started to keep distance from them.
Reyn was a handsome nobleman with a gray eyes. His very thick and dashing grown-out comma hairstyle with a blue ombre already reached his collar. As he was making his way through the forest, Reyn accidentally got trapped in a snare and was left hanging upside down. His black-blue hair swirling by the wind as he tries to call for help.
Wright approached him with a wicked grin on his face. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Looks like my dear friend Reyn has found himself in a bit of a sticky situation."
Reyn struggled to free himself from the snare, but it was no use. "Wright, please, help me get down from here!" he cried out.
Wright chuckled. "Oh, I'll help you, all right. But not before we have a little of fun first."
With that, Wright pulled out a pair of sheep shears from his backpack. Reyn 's eyes widened in horror as he realized what Wright was planning to do.
"Wright, its not funny, please don't!" he begged.
But Wright just laughed. "Oh, come on, Reyn, it's just a haircut. And besides, think of all the extra aerodynamics you'll have when you're running through the forest!"
Wright running his hand on reyn’s thick hair while savoring the softness. When he observes closely, he breathes a fresh citrus scent. Reyn seemed resigned to his fate when Wright began to snip away Reyn 's thick, dense hair closely to the scalp. The sound of the shears was loud and grating, and Reyn winced in pain as Wright snipped a more strands of hair from his scalp. But Wright didn't seem to care. He just kept cutting away, laughing all the while.
As Wright finally finished cutting off all of Reyn 's hair, he stepped back to admire his handiwork. Reyn 's once-dashing hairstyle was now reduced to a patchy buzz cut.
"There, all done!" Wright exclaimed. "Now you look like a real hunter, Reyn!"
Reyn was devastated. His once-prized hair was now gone, and all thanks to his reckless friend Wright. But he knew that he couldn't stay mad forever. After all, they had been friends since childhood. And besides, they still had a royal hunting competition to finish.
As they continued on their way through the forest, Reyn couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness every time he felt the cool breeze on his newly-shorn scalp. But he knew that in the end, it was just hair. And this competition was far more important.
