Took a trip to Sydney, Australia to see my family after my final school year exams. My dad got promoted to CEO of the Australia office, and my brother John, the second eldest, and Tim, the youngest, started a new life out there. The last time I was talking to my brothers, I noticed Tim was getting more mature and had stubble on his face, and his voice had broken, wearing Jeans but John was wearing shorts and his haircut was like the 1950s, really short back and sides.
Got to my hotel went to my room and had a shower, when I was done phoned my Mum up and boy was she surprised. I was waiting for my family in the reception when Mum came running up to me "Phillip!!" she picked me up with a huge "Mum it's good to see you" John walked up to me" It's really good to see my brother" he was wearing a polo neck t-shirt, knee length shorts, socks, trainers, I hugged him "How are you" " fine Phillip" "That's some haircut, John" I replied "Mum where are Tim and Dad at" "That's them coming in" looked round, saw Tim got a bit taller wearing a suit Dad hasn't changed.

Walked up to them "Tim what's this, a suit" he looked at me "So, you should be wearing the same shorts as John is" walked past me without saying hi "Dad how is the company doing" I said to him as I stuck out my hand to him, he looked at me, did not say a word just walked past me "Assholes". We sat around the table and ordered our dinner "How long are you staying sweetie" I looked over at Mum "Four weeks Mum" I replied and saw Dad looking at his phone "Sam could you look at your phone later" Mum was not happy at what Dad was doing "Ok dear" he replied "Tim Mum told me that you transferred to another school" I asked him "Yeah, about two weeks ago" he replied "When we got to hear, I had to wear school shorts and it bothered me" "It's part of your school uniform, Tim" I replied, he did not like at what I said, "I wear school trousers but in the Summer we wear school shorts, not me".
As the night went on I took Tim to the side "Do you want to come to the hotel tomorrow for the day Tim" he smiled "Sounds good, what time at Phillip" "9 am" Mum overheard our conversation "What's this you two" "Mum, I just ask Tim to come to the hotel for the day tomorrow" Mum fixed the collar of my T-shirt "What about Tim Phillip" All right, Tim are you doing anything tomorrow" he looked at me "No" " do you want to come to the hotel tomorrow for the day?" he smiled "sure but you have to get your haircut like Johns" Mum smiled "Good idea, I pick you up in the morning Phillip" "but" "No buts Phillip! Mum replied.

Morning came and I was done having breakfast "Bloody Tim and his mouth," I thought "Better get going" got up from the table and left the hotel "Overhear Phillip" Mum called out from her car window, walked over to the passers door "No Phillip, back seat" got in the back seat "Seat belt Phillip" put it on and Mum drove off. "Right Phillip when you get your haircut I will be taking you to the dentist and then the doctor" "What for Mum, my teeth are fine so my health" I replied "It's only for a check-up Sweetie". Mum pulled up outside the Barber shop and we went in "Morning my son needs a haircut, say a Quiff cut" "Sure with a grade two disconnection on the sides. Crew pomade to style ma'am" replied the Barber " No! Make it short at the sides and back, please" Mum replied.
I sat down on the barber chair, he put the robe around my next, picked up a water bottle, and sprayed my hair with it. Picked up a clipper and comb "Head forward young man" said the barber and I did, as he was putting the comb up my back and sides the clippers followed suit, number 4 grad was first, it got deeper into my hair then number 3. The sides and back of my hair get shorter cool air passed my ears, and lumps of my hair lay around the barber chair, he combed my hair forward and put it in a hair clip. Instead of 2 guards, it was 1 "Move your head to the side young man" asked the Baber and I did, he put the comb above my ear, and as he was moving it up my hair the clippers followed suit.

He took off the hair clip from my head, picked up a pair of hair cutter scissors, and started cutting, the barber moved the comb over my head with the cutter scissors "All done young man, know to wash it" he washed my hair then dried it, put old fashioned hair cream threw it. I looked at my haircut, it was much shorter than John's and I mean short "Know that is Better Phillip" Mum said with a smile "It's shorter than John's Mum" I replied, "Come along Phillip".
Next was the dentist, all good then the doctors, stood Just wearing my underpants "Phillip you have a build of a 14-year-old boy" replied the doctor "Tell me about it doctor" he give me a thar check "Phillip what about your mental ability" "Doctor" I replied "do you think and act like a 14" "No I do not" I replied "It's not common" said the doctor "common doctor? because I am built like a 14-year boy" "Your Mum says you be here for four weeks" (what is he on about) I thought "Yes doctor why?" I replied "I am staying at a hotel and when I am done here go back because I am meeting my two brothers there for the day" he sat back on his chair while I was putting on my clothes behind the blinds "Phillip what are the ages of your brothers," said the doctor, I walked round from the blinds "why?" I replied " alright, John is 16 and Tim is 15 but he has matured a great deal doctor" "Yes Tim has gotten more mature for his age, got a bit taller, stubble on his face, body hair, and his voice has broken" "How is that possible doctor" I replied "I am a doctor and don't know that question, Phillip, do you wear swimming shorts or trunks" I looked at him "swimming shorts" Came my reply "Why don't you wear swimming trunks today at the pool and if your brothers turn up in swimming shorts, don't worry about".
We left the doctor's office and headed to a sports shop "Mum what are we doing here for" I asked "Get your swimming trunks" "WHAT" "Let's go, Phillip" We walked into the shop and Mum took me to the swimwear section and I picked a pair of swimming trunks, plain Colour ones and headed to the counter when Mum came over to me" Which ones did you get Phillip " I showed her "Won't do take these instead" and handed me a pair of red trunks that had a small blue dolphin on the waist (great) I thought, Mum paid for them "Phillip go and put them on and take these blue shorts with you so you can wear them over your trunks" said Mum, I walked over to the changing rooms and went in, took off my shorts and underpants, put on my red swimming trunks which they fitted me, then the blue shorts. I looked down and saw a Dolphin on the left of my shorts (this gets better) I thought suddenly Mum put her arm in, in her hand was this blue T-shirt "Hear Phillip take this T-shirt and put it on" I took it from her hand and put it on and left the changing rooms "You look so adorable, Phillip truck your T-shirt into your shorts" I did "Let's go".

We got back to the hotel and Mum drove off, walked to the pool, and sat down when John and Tim came walking up "Morning Phillip you look sharp" said John "Your hair it's shorter than mine" "You are telling me John" I replied. Tim took off his shirt and lay back on the Sunlounger "Go for a swim Phillip" said John "Sure" I replied, took off my T-shirt and shorts "Nice trunks, the little dolphin" John said. We were in the pool for a few hours, swimming, diving, and fooling around when I saw Tim walking away and then coming back with a girl "That's Tim's girlfriend" said John "Tim invited her without asking me" I replied "What do you mean Phillip, without asking you" turned round to face John "only Three quests are allowed to the hotel" "yeah, there's me and Tim makes two then his girlfriend makes three" he replied "Tim did not ask to bring his girlfriend, I thought to catch up with my brothers " I was about to get out of the pool John pulled me back in "Does it matter Phillip".
"I am getting hungry, you John" "Always Phillip" he replied and we left the pool and went back to the Sun Loungers "Phillip this is Susan Peterson my girlfriend" Tim induced me "Nice to meet you" I replied "Your first time in Sydney Phillip," Susan asked me "Yes" what do you think" "hot" "Tim told me that you were doing your final exams" "yes Susan but I won't get the results until the end of the summer and I will be here for four weeks to take in the sights" "what happens if you don't get the results you are expecting Phillip" replied Susan "my brother had to reset his exams in Junior class" "what do you mean Susan" I replied " he had to wear a full school uniform with dark grey school shorts in a class of 14 year old's and be treated as one, oh and wearing a skull school cap" did not respond at what she said to me "he was lucky it was not third year" "hungry" and walked off "wait up Phillip" John called.

"Are you not inviting Susan and Tim?" said John "Go over to them John and ask them to join us" We all sat around the poolside table having lunch Susan sat next to me "Phillip could you use a napkin, please?" she said "do what you are told, Phillip" Tim replied, picked up a napkin "Phillip pull your chair closer to the table?" said Susan; I did "Phillip how long can we stay at the hotel," Tim asked with a smile "Hole day, Tim why?" " don't be rude to your brother Phillip, he is only asking" I took a deep breath "Apologies to your brother for being rude," said Susan with a serious look on her face "Right now Phillip" "I AM SO SORRY BIG BROTHER" I was getting pissed off, John whispered in my ear "Calm down" "I asked the hotel manager if I could bring some of my friends over and he said yes, any time soon," said Tim.
We finished lunch when Tim's friends came walking up to us "Everyone this is my brother Phillip" I got up from my chair and shook their hands "Nice to meet you all" I replied "Is the food nice here Phillip" said one of Tim's friends "yes it is" I replied. They ordered food and eat it at the tables "Phillip let's go back to our sun Loungers" John asked me "Sure" I replied, lying back on mine "Phillip just go with the flow" said John " alright John" he smiled "are your trunks comfortable Phillip" " yes they are John" I replied, "Phillip would you do it?" I looked at John at what he said "What? John" "You get bad results from your exams, you wear a full school uniform with shorts and a skull cap" I just looked at him "Hear in Australia or England?" John came straight out and said "Hear in Australia" "Don't know John" I replied " Phillip go over to the table beside the bar and bring over those bowls," said Tim "Phillip come along and do what your brother says" Susan's voice went "go right a head Phillip" John replied.

Got up, walked over to the table, picked up the bowls, and brought them over to the table where Tim was setting "Thank you Phillip" Tim replied "Hey Phillip I like your dolphin on your trunks" said one of Tim's friends "thank you" walked back to John "next time Phillip you are asked to do something, do it ok" he said. As the day went on, I was asked to get stuff for Tim and Susan plus his friends, John was too busy in the pool. They all left the hotel, I did not say goodbye to Tim and John, went back to my room, and had a shower.
