it’s time for you to get a haircut let’s go to the barbers son school starts soon

we both arrive at the barbers

Barber-yes take a seat
You have a ton of hair on your head son
He says as he is aggressively combing my hair
He puts the neck strap tight around my neck
And put the cape on me
So what are we doing today he asks my dad

I want something that’s gonna last him shave the back and sides high

No problem the barber reply’s

He bends my head down and places his hand on the top of my head
He grabs the clipper and starts shaving
He takes the clippers right up nearly to the crown of my head I could feel the cool breeze on my back head next he moves on to the sides he starts clipping me with a 0 he takes the sides up high nearly at my temples the barbers places his hand on the back of my head and starts rubbing it trying to get the pieces of hair off it felt so weird his hand on my skin
Next he
Shows my dad nice and short he says to my dad
My dad says yes I like how you have done the back and sides
Any of the top?
He says as he is brushing the top of my hair down in my face
Yes take the top down short
I felt so uncomfortable
The barber then starts going crazy with the scissors he was taking of so much
He brushes my bangs onto my face at this point they were just above my eyebrows
He snips them cutting it into a straight line right at the top of my forehead it was so short it I looked at my dad
He had a smile on his face he says can finally see your face now
The barbers gets the clippers and starts clipper over combing the top leaving it not even finger length
The crown of my head the hair was literally standing up

The barber touches the back of my head
And blow dries all the loose hairs away

All done son

My dad thanks the barber and we leave
"It’s so short dad"
It will grow in no time my dad chuckles as he rubs the back of my head.
