This is a continuation of "My brother took charged of my haircut"

Years passed by and im getting the same haircut.

I was now in college. Im taking up business administration in one of the prestigious school in the country which is 5 hours away from home.

My brother still lives at my parents house even though he is working already since my parents are old so they have someone with them.

I have a scholarship but that only covers school fees. My parents had to pay for my rent and give me allowance.

I just finished my sophomore year and now packing my things so I can spend my vacation at home.

I am so excited to see my parents and the place I grew up.

I am no also sporting a classic pompadour which is very common at my school

I had to make sure I budget my allowance wisely so I have enough money for my haircut.


I have a regular barber which i pay $50 plus tip.

I always maintain my hair and have it trimmed every month.

Its been 2 years since I was not home. I had to do part time job last year so I was not able to go home.

This year, my dad asked me not to do a part time job because they want to spend time with me.

I took a bus to ride home.

I was pass 11pm when I got home and everyone is sleeping.

The next day, I woke up early and greeted my parents

It was 8am and my brother woke up just in time for breakfast.

I greeted my brother and he just smirked with me.

After breakfast, I went to my room. I am planning to go out. I will maximize my stay here since im only here for a month.

My brother went to my room and asked me how I am.

This feels akward because he never called to ask me how I am.

Maybe he changed already and wanted ro be a big brother.

I Happily told him how my life is, what I usually do and how I miss home.

The next day, while we are eating breakfast, he told me he's getting a haircut and asked of i want to have my haircut as well.

I said no, i have a regular barber and would get my haircut once Im back in the city.

Brother : i bet you are paying to much for that haircut

I didnt answer and just continue eating

My dad butt in and said why dont you get a haircut with your brother? You're only here for a month, maybe he misses you so much and would like to bond with you.

I told my dad i just got a haircut before going here.

Dad : what kind of haircut is that? Its so long. You should get worth of your money.
Me: my classmate goes to the same barber, i am getting it trimmed monthly
Dad: and how much do you pay for that
Me : $50 plus tip
Brother : that's a lot of money, is that where your allowance go!
Me: i know but my barber is very good plus i dont usually go out so I am saving money which i use for the cut
Brother : our parents are working hard hard and you're just wasting it

I am getting pissed at this point so I hurriedly finish my food.

I just stayed in my room the whole morning. I heard the my parents went out to work. I thought my brother did but I am wrong.

When I went out, he was at the living room waiting for me.

Brother: we should get going
Me : i told you im not getting a haircut
Brother : dont ve spoiled brat, if you dont get your haircut now I swear I will be dragging you to the barbershop
Me: im old enough do decide when to get my haircut
Brother: tell me that if you already have your own money.
Me: our parents are giving me money not you so you do not have a say
Brother : well starting this school year, i will be paying for your rent and give you allowance
Me: huh?
Brother: i asked our parents to retire so I get to decide now at this household so if I tell you to get your haircut, you will, okay?


I called my dad to confirm what my brother told me and he said yes. I am upset that I cant do anything. I can feel he is planning something.

I dont want to have a shaved head again..
