Bad week - part 2. by Vykonavatel77

I recommend reading the first part of the story: Bad week.
It had been 5.5 months since the last haircut Ed and I had been given by his dad at their old fashioned small town barber shop and I had about 3-4 inches of hair covering my ears and bangs covering my eyes. Uncle Casper, however, did not allow his son Ed to have long hair, despite the fact that he will be 14 years old soon, and in the 70s it was an unfashionable hairstyle for boys. Since our haircut together, for smoking, Ed has already had his hair cut several times.
It was a few days after Christmas, it was Saturday morning, when my father told me that we were going to Uncle Casper's. I was surprised that we were visiting on Saturday morning and not Sunday afternoon, but I didn't pay much attention.
When we got off the train in the small town where Uncle Casper lived, my father grabbed me by the neck and put his hand on my shoulder, then he told me. Michael, your hair is long and you will need a cut. Yes, dad, I answered, I will go to the UNISEX barber shop with mom on Monday. Dad told me not to wait until Monday and he would have me cut at the barbershop where Uncle Casper had me and Ed cut. Dad please no, it's an old fashioned barbershop and you know how short Ed's hair is. That's unfashionable, I protested. But father insisted, because in no time you would look like a girl, and I liked the last time you had your hair cut. I also tried to protest that, apart from old guys and Ed, only little boys go to that barbershop, and I will be 13 years old in 2 months. My excuses and pleas didn't help. I then asked my father not to cut my hair short. When we arrived at the barbershop, my father still held me by the neck, he pushed me into the door of the barbershop. We sat down on the waiting chairs. In addition to the 3 old men, there was also a boy waiting for his haircut, whom I estimated to be around 15 years old. His hair was slightly longer than mine. When my father saw him, he said to me: Look, that boy is older than you and he has no problem getting a haircut in this barbershop. I was sitting on pins and needles, but when I saw an older boy with longer hair than mine, I assumed that the barber doesn't just give boys short haircuts.
When the barber called the boy and the boy sat down in his old chair, the barber wrapped him in a sheet and said: A common boy's haircut. The boy said yes. Big chunks of the boy's hair were already falling on the sheet and the ground. In about 10 minutes the boy was cut and the barber called me to his old chair. The boy thanked the barber and paid for his haircut.
The barber put a sheet around me and fastened it tightly around my neck. He asked the father, how do I cut the boy's hair? The father replied, just as you cut the hair of the boy who had now left. I screamed, no daddy. But the barber grabbed my head firmly, and sharply bent it forward. He turned on the clippers and started chasing the hair from the neck to the back of his head. The first hair of about 7 centimeters fell on the sheet. Later he cut my hair on one side and later on the other side of my head. I saw in the mirror that my hair does not cover my ears and I only have 6 millimeters of hair on the sides of my head. The barber continued to cut the hair on the top of my head, which he combed to the right side and cut the bangs so that almost my entire forehead was visible. The barber turned on a new clipper with very fine teeth and began cutting the short hair around the ears and from the neck up to the nape of the neck. Finally, he made a transition from the shortest stubble to the hair on the top of his head. He then applied foam around my ears and neck, which he scraped off with an ancient razor. Before the barber freed me from the drastic cut, he applied an oily cream to my hair and combed my hair to the right side. I wanted to be polite, so I thanked the barber for the haircut, as did the boy in front of me.
Indeed, the barber cut me just like the older boy before me, and my new short haircut resembled the way a cut Ed walks. About 4 centimeters of hair on the top of the head, the temple bones and above the ears shaved to 3 centimeters. The back of the head is cleanly shaved about 10 centimeters above the shirt collar.
My father went to pay for my haircut, then the barber told my father to go for a haircut more often and not have such long hair.
After arriving at Uncle Casper's, I discovered that I had shorter hair than Ed for the first time. But it wasn't long, his father sent him to the barber and he arrived with a haircut like mine in about half an hour.
Uncle Casper suggested to dad that I go get a haircut together with Ed, every 3 weeks. This will make boys' hair grow by a centimeter. My father started to smile, but I wanted to cry.
