I’ve worked at this grocery store since I was 17. I’m 20 at this point and I knew my coworkers pretty well. Some of them have been working there much longer than I. One of my favorite openers to work with was Dan. He was always tanned, arms jacked, especially in the summers.

I would always glance at him to see what he was up to. He usually would not give me the time of day. He would usually sport a short cropped cut.

At this point it was May, the summer heat was approaching. Dans short crop was turning into a shag. I even realized my short blond spikes were getting thick and heavy too.

I ran into Dan on the way to clock out.

Hey Dan, your hairs looking good my dude, I said.

Hey Shaye, thanks! I’m ready for my summer buzz.

I stood there in disbelief, he was going to have a short buzzcut this summer again. Last year he did the same. He came to work one day and his hair was completely gone, just bristles on the top of his head. I’ve always wanted to go short during the summer but always chickened out.

Aww man I said to Dan. Your hairs looking good right now though I said to keep the conversation going.

This mop on my head is going wild. Same with yours dude. It’s getting way thick, that summer heat is going to get you.

I put my fingers through my hair and realize how long it’s gotten.

Tell you what Shaye… Dan says… we both open tomorrow, show up at 6:30 instead of 7:00, we can get our morning duties done with, and before the store opens, I can give you a buzzcut, and if you’d like I’ll do the same.

My heart starts racing. This is what I’ve always fantasized. A strong hot dude buzzing all my locks, and feeling a new identity after.

Next morning I woke up super early. About 5:00, excited about what’s to come.

I packed my work clothes into a duffle bag and showed up in gym shorts and a sleeveless shirt.

6:20 approaches and I show up to work. 6:25 approaches and I see Dan pull up and take a parking spot next to me.

Hey shaye, he embraces me as he says. Ready for some fun? I can tell he’s very excited about this too.

We get inside the store, we are the only openers and no one will come before 8:00 usually. We both clock in and start our duties.

Let’s meet back at 7:00 and go to the back, I’ll set up a little barber station.

I start sweeping the store, and getting all the check out counters cleaned.

6:45 approaches and I see Dan doing some tasks and he’s taken off his hoodie and just wearing a tank top too. His arms were amazing to look at.

I finish my tasks around 6:50 and head to the back to see Dan now shirtless in the back getting the barbering things together. He’s got a metal chair next to an outlet, a set of clippers with all the guards and a big trash bin to collect our hair.

Strip that shirt off for me Shaye and sit down. You’re first babes.

I’m very excited and I think he and I both can tell by looking at my shorts. I take off my tank and throw it in my locker. I take a seat and it burns, it’s a little cold on the metal chair.

What shall it be today? Have you buzzed your hair ever?

I replied with "no not as short as you usually do."

Well I have always done a #2, but I’m thinking we’re gonna do #1 guard on the both of us.

I shrug and agree. Dan goes behind me take a good grip on my shoulder. He turns on the clipper and it starts buzzing. He pulls back my bangs and lets the clippers go down the center of my head. My hair goes all over my shoulders, my shorts, maybe got half in the trash. He finishes the top of my head and rubs it to get any loose hairs off.

Then he takes the clippers and continues up the sides and back. Dan finishes up and gives my head a fabulous massage, he clearly can tell I was into it.

A little excited I see Shaye as he looks at my tented shorts. I turn to him and see that’s also happening to him.

My turn he exclaims.

He takes a seat and immediately I grab the clippers and start heading towards Dan. I start up and back and sides leaving the top for some more fun. His shirtless back is amazing and I can’t wait to see him practically buzzed bald and shirtless. I finish the back and my eyes go towards the top and front of his head. I get in front of him and he grabs me and gets very interested what’s inside my shorts. He takes a peek and is very intrigued and shows me his. I smack his hand and say. Your cut is not finished. After we might explore whatever you’re trying to do.

I eliminate a strip down the center of his bangs and damn he’s looking great with this buzz. He clearly was into the short cut as well. Taking the vibrating clipper I continue finishing the top and get in front of him again and his hair is gone. Dan was very excited and eager to se himself as was I.

We went to the employee restroom and both saw our new cuts. In all honesty, I loved the new cut on me, but Dan was even hotter.

It was 7:30 and we opened around 8:00, shall we explore each other now? Dan asked. To finish out the story, let’s just say, they both have seen eachother from head to toe now.
