This segment became a little brutal for me, to be honest. The thing I liked about the original story was how innocent and sweet it was, especially the ending. This chapter is a bit of a dark departure. :(

This was an amazing continuation, Paul! Will there be more installments? I don't mean to be greedy. This is a great way to end the tale, but this is such a beautifully conceived storyline, I'd love to know what happens next. I really enjoyed seeing Johnny submitting to his dad's stiff collared discipline and accepting his barbered fate for good.
