Wow. It's sad, a wonderfully written story of a youngster on his path to manhood taken down. (My own father was far from this man in the story even when sober.)I can understand the alleged 'potential grooming' but personally I didn't read it that way. The author is certainly at a higher level that most, IMHO.

I wish I could have finished this story. I first came across it on Nifty.org. I tried reaching out to the author but he didn't message me back. I experienced something very similar when I was 14.

I fail to understand this accusation. Pierre Broussard is the only writer online who wrote a story that identifies myself as a young teen who wished his dad would take him to church dressing alike. I really identify with the character.

However, even I won't know precisely how the tale turns out. Your attack came on the tail of a very rough week (and a bout of the Flu) in my real life... oh well... Your accusations so disgusted & horrified me that I destroyed the story. I wiped every chapter, start to finish, off my hard drive and back-up discs. Four non-fetish stories also went down the drain in the purge. One was a writers' workshop (Sci-Fi) project that looked like it was going somewhere. It annoys me that I allowed a negative bully like you to get the drop on me like that. Live & Learn.

Folks- let it drop. First of all: the story reflected the fantasies that I'd had at that age. It was a kind of an "alternative auto bio"- how I wished that my teen haircut, etc, experiences had panned out. The 'special attentions' of the adults were motivated by their belief that the character was a budding young conservative. They're his MENTORS, not his (gag) lovers. They wanted to guide and direct his(my) formation in that direction. The main character would ultimately be transferred to a very strict school. Serious study, discipline, & an old fashioned dress code would be the order of the day. Their mistaken impression would actually prove pleasant for the main character. He got a kick out of the whole thing. It would help him become the old fashioned 'square' (in 60s/70s parlance) that he wanted to be. He would've gone on to college, where he would ultimately connect w/ Will. Will, if you read the story, was the younger brother of the character's best friend. They would stay together in an old fashioned, monogamous relationship- between two consenting adults of similar age. When state law changed, the two would Make It Legal. Nowhere does the issue of improper sexual activity come up.

So, because YOU are paranoid, he rest of the world should be too? It's a story about a boy who wants to grow up to be just like his dad. It's a little obsessive, sure, but when you were that age, weren't you a little obsessive about whatever it was that caught your interest? And wouldn't it have been great to have had your parent(s) full attention and support in said interest? Yeah. You've got a dirty mind.

I would like to apologize to the author of the original Just Like Dad story. While I found the story a little odd due to the boy's peter pan complex, it was not too bad. The following stories, whether intentiltional or not, incldued some classic "grooming" behaviors and there were repeated mentions of adults showing special attention to the main character and I inferred, that there were sexual overtones to the main character's response to this grooming-like behavior. This was a story about an underage boy, remember.
