Those Fiery Highlights! by Shant Shant! I was absolutely exploding with this story...trying not to rush, but to savor every line. All that gorgeous hair with the fiery highlights being swept up from the barber shop floor! Too wonderful to imagine. by Manny on 12 Sep 2021
The physiotherapist p7 : The graduate by thadeusz @ Daniel : Ahmed remained Legionnaire First Class. He was subject to numerous punishments by his former comrades and now superiors as Corporals. The Colonel offered him at the end of his contract to send him back to a CPL course provided he signed for 5 more years, but he refused and left the Legion for ever.

Ears by Stroyteller That is a well-written story of how the lad realized a hidden dream he had as soon as he met Mario. by Philip on 11 Sep 2021
Those Fiery Highlights! by Shant Shant, more please. What a great story. My favorite auburn locks, and lots left to play with after the cut. by P.J. on 11 Sep 2021
Ears by Stroyteller I think a lot of us faced similar dilemmas growing up during that time period. I, for one, was teased about my big pointed ears. I was called Spock more than I care to remember. Sadly, the haircuts my dad would take me to get, that I loved, where the back and sides of my head were all but shaved (I loved the feel of the haircut so much, I actually asked to get it cut again while in the chair), I suddenly was terrified to get. Anything exposing my ears was taboo until I realised I could go short/shaved without being teased.
I am glad that short hair is back for guys of all ages now ( I’m jealous when I see young boys with tight buzz cuts or even shaved heads). It took me until I hit my 20’s to try short hair again. I was ahead of the pack going short and would have done it regardless of trends.
This guy may have been scared into getting the cut, but at least he had the bully defending him.
Excellent, well written story! Please write more. by Pauldy on 11 Sep 2021
Stay Out of Our Territory by Shant I guess gangs were alot less violent in those days, LOL. Very nice story. All I kept thinking about was the Chicago PD TV show where the gangs just seem to go around shooting each other. Haircutting seems a much better solution. This also reminds me of a very old incident where a US judge made a group of Hells Angels motorcycle gang members get short haircuts before appearing in his court room. I think "LIFE" magazine had before and after pictures. by Deke Cutter on 11 Sep 2021

Those Fiery Highlights! by Shant So great! I love how vivid and descriptive your stories are! by Anon on 10 Sep 2021
Ears by Stroyteller Well written story, good plot. "Ears" deserves what he got for not either fighting Mario or taking a whipping from him. Or, he could have told him, in the barber shop, that he was not getting his haircut and walked out. But, he proved himself to be a "wuss" so he will just have to get used to looking ridiculous. by Deke Cutter on 10 Sep 2021

Those Fiery Highlights! by Shant I’m generally not into long hair stories, but this one is well developed and good reading.
Would love to read a sequel where a lot more hair comes off along with some clothes! by Pauldy on 10 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts After pondering this subject or tradition there are many places in this world we live where basic human civil rights are put on the back burner and completely ignored, including the United States which I call home. Its hard to believe that these places still exist, but they do. That being said, in Argentina this probably did happen. As many unjust acts in my own country still are happening. I feel bad for those lucky young men who missed being drafted but faced the horror of being chased into the street and shaved bald against their will. Clearly a violation of basic human civil rights. What a horrible tradition. My apologies if I offended anyone with my disbelief, it is what it is. by M DeMarlo on 09 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts M DeMarlo, you've done your due dilligence. You are one of the great writers on this site. Don't let this get you down. ilhcts, I am sure you recall this happening. I know of many odd haircutting events that I, too, thought were documented from the years of the hair wars, but can find no trace of them. I think the old paper indices, like the Readers Guide to Periodic Literature were, in some ways, better chronicles than the internet search engines today. by Deke Cutter on 09 Sep 2021
Under Attack The site was under attack this morning, so took it down for a couple of hours.
Tradición by ilhcts ilhcts: El rey tuerto raros peinados. shows more than willing students cutting their hair. Where are these unwilling young men who were lucky to miss the draft but still were shaved forcibly against their will?I simply cant find that, and I have looked even did a google search and translation and found no forced head shaves on men who missed the draft. It seems to me something like that would be documented.I'm not calling you a liar, I believe this did happen to you willingly, along with other college students who participated in a willing act. For that i apologist. However, i found no proof of unwilling men who missed the draft but were shaved anyway against their will. I have a problem with you saying this is non fiction. Again, if I am wrong and this is truly non fiction I will apologist. by M DeMarlo on 07 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts ilhtcs; I was not able to find your proof, be more specific with your referencing. If there is legitimate proof I will be the first to apologize, but I found nothing. by M DeMarlo on 07 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts Nice try, but I don't believe this to be true. It screams "Fantasy" and at that it is a great story. passing it off as non fiction is where you go wrong. If it happened to you, maybe so. However for it to happen year after year as a tradition to unwilling men is not believable regardless where or what country. Men who missed the draft getting shaved bald.....that's crazy and I don't believe it to be true. by M DeMarlo on 07 Sep 2021
Never short enough by snipsnip We have been married over 40 years and I love buzzing my wife's hair. I have been cutting her for years. We both love it clipper cut but my favorite is a soft flattop. When I cut the flattop bang area, I try to leave it at least an inch to start with. I Run the #8 over the top first and then brush it back until it is stands straight up. Put a bit of gel in in it and blow it back until it doesn't move and then insert the flattop comb and lightly run the clipper over the comb taking the crown area down to 3/8s and shaping it into a beautiful flattop. You cannot leave the front an inch. Three quarters is perfect, an inch does not last long and has to be cut sooner. First I cut the sides and back in a #3 and then fade it down to a #1 making sure to keep it square and not round out the sides. Sometimes I take it down to one half at the front, but it is a bit butch cut that close. I am very good with the clipper and love to freehand cut the top as I love it very precise, therefore it has to be cut at least every ten days to keep it sharp. Most of the time I use a very thin flattop comb and not the large one. However the large one is great for taking a lot off at one time. If your wife has the features and can pull off a beautiful flattop, talk her into it. If you like a ultra close precise haircut, a flattop is awesome. by Vince on 07 Sep 2021

REGULATIONS by SEAN BARNET Thank you all for your comments, it is always nice to know one's efforts are appreciated. In particular Nunzee (and Deke Cutter too) is absolutely right, for 10 years or so after the Beatles emerged on the public scene in 1963 with their mop tops, the sight of a boy or young man with long hair was felt by many of the older generation to be a sign of the impending end of civilisation - or at least you would think so from their reaction. by Sean Barnet on 07 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts M DeMarlo... what's your problem? If somebody write a story telling is a true story, and in my case, it's happened to me, why the hell will say is a true story is is not??? if this is a fantasy, will let you know. for your information in some cities like Tucumán o Salta, Argentina, this tradition is still happening. In Buenos Aires was real until 1994,the year when military service was no mandatory anymore. And also for the peace of your mind, search in youtube, it is a documental about it under this title El rey tuerto raros peinados. The action start at the middle of the video.
I'll be waiting for your next comment. by ilhcts on 07 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts Heads being shaved because they missed the draft, in your dreams maybe but fake news. Where is the Youtube link? If true there would be many young men fighting tooth and nail, possibly ending with somebody getting hurt, maimed, or even killed. by M DeMarlo on 06 Sep 2021
Tradición by ilhcts Pasa enlace de ese video :D by Alex on 06 Sep 2021
REGULATIONS by SEAN BARNET Neat story, well paced and great dialogue. There was a time, some of the younger readers here may not be aware of, right after the Beatles hit and for a few years beyond, when adults around the world hated long hair so much they actually thought that enforced haircuts and formal dress codes would make younger people automatically obedient. Parents and schools really pushed this. Of course it backfired, but this story captures the fantasies of guys like Mr, Trenchard who thought they were making the world safe for whatever by insisting on short back and sides, crewcuts, flattops or whatever. Great job. by Nunzee on 06 Sep 2021
Back to the Old Barber - Reposted by Sean Barnet Love this story. Reminds me of the the barber I went to growing up - Jonny the barber. Dad always got a #2 burr - not much to mess up there. My boy’s regular cut was always a mess - uneven tapers, ultra high arches above the ears and drastically angled bangs. I moved on, but much like in this story I came back. I wanted a flattop and Jonny had given one to a friend of mine. Yep, I got exactly what I thought I’d get - what started out as a nice medium length flattop slowly was taken down to a Marine Corps length cut. Sadly, Jonny died in a traffic accident shorty there after and I never got to go back as a regular customer. by JJ on 06 Sep 2021
Humiliated by haircutterguy No problem, I was told to go to a barbers in p.e. kit with a seal letter. The barber opened the letter and gave me a short back and sides I was then told to run to another barbers, time was length, shorter still, then a visit to a barbers next to a TA centre, he took me into the centre and I was shave totally several times with slaps and pt.
Ordered to return weekly for the whole of summer,I worked hard that year. by colin on 05 Sep 2021
Waiting for Manny - version 2 by Shant What a great story. You are a talented writer. I like that Manny's push locks were left intact. Hope the other barber takes a hint from Manny and grow his back out to shoulder length before they get together next time. by P.J. on 05 Sep 2021
Dr. Clippers - Chapter 1 by S.G. Wolf Really enjoyed the Story.
Would like to hear, what happens to guy(s) who do not comply to Dr Clipprrs After Care Rules ?.
Also, more about the 'Guards/Henchmen, how Dr Clipper treats them ? by T. Flatlover on 05 Sep 2021
Waiting for Manny - version 2 by Shant I'm glad my stories helped motivate you to write. You have tremendous talent. I very much could feel myself as I read this story -- especially when you fawned over my natural highlights. "Barber in the chair" is one of my favorite fantasies. When vain, self-absorbed Manny and his pampered locks take a big hit, my reading enjoyment sky-rockets! by Manny on 04 Sep 2021
Dude's Crash - part 3 by The Hair King They will probably not be posted. This site seems to be on a different direction and I don't know another site. by The Hair King on 04 Sep 2021

En cualquier caso desearía que escribiera cosas nuevas. by Ansúrez on 04 Sep 2021
